5. When someone has strong Executive Function Skills, they
are help to learn and play well. They engage with learning,
get on with other people and manage challenges calmly.
They adapt to change well and can change their energy to
suit the situation and task.
6. People who have less strong Executive Function Skills can
find it hard to remember information and may have trouble
getting things done in the time given. They may get easily
distracted and can find it hard to switch tasks or cope with
change. They may be impulsive and find it hard to manage
big feelings in ways that are ok for those around them.
7. Just like reading and writing, we can improve Executive
Function Skills through teaching and practice.
