2. Positive, enriching experiences
Varied, stimulating and enriching experiences are key to developing
strong early connections.
Stronger neural pathways in many areas of the brain
are built when children enjoy a wide range of positive
experiences with different adults and peers.
Areas of the brain involved in Executive Function
skills also become stronger.
The more enriching and positive experiences
a child enjoys, the easier she or he will find it
to remember, process information, focus attention,
be flexible, manage impulses and take control of
big feelings.
