Some children have weaker neural circuitry in the area of the brain responsible for
important thinking skills.
This may be due to fewer enriching experiences, adverse childhood events and trauma
or it may simply be their biology – in the same way some people are tall and others
short.

A child with weaker neural circuitry will have weaker Executive Function Skills – through
no fault of their own. This makes doing well at home and at school much tougher.
