Think about times you do not feel a sense of control.
1. What can you control at those times? (You can practise to react in a
way you feel is helpful for you and others).
2. What can you influence at those times?
➢ Can you influence how other people react?
➢ Can you influence your environment (e.g. the noise levels by
wearing noise cancellation buds or the heat by taking off a jumper)
➢ Can you influence how other people think of you e.g. by being
super friendly, helpful or compassionate.
➢Can you influence the support you receive e.g. being able to use a
quiet room for some tasks.
