What is Cognitive Empathy?
Daniel Goleman, in his 1995 book Emotional Intelligence, describes Cognitive
Empathy as the skill of creating a mental understanding of another person's
experience.’
“Knowing how the other person feels and what they might be thinking.
Sometimes called perspective-taking.”
This can also be referred to as ‘Theory of Mind’.
