Executive Function Skills help us with other essential
skills: sequencing and prioritising tasks, being
organised, using time well and getting on with
others.
Just like all other skills, the neural circuits for Executive
Function Skills become stronger through experience
and lots of practice from the moment we are born.
This means that the neural circuitry of children who
have not had such regular experiences will be weaker;
their skills in these areas will be weaker too.
