What can you do? Things to consider if you are


           worried someone has a mental health disorder:











          Think about what you can do and where your role sits.





          Talk to colleagues, you are not there to fix things or be responsible on your own;
          more people = more help



          It may be helpful to consider what you would do if it was a safeguarding issue.
          Approach it systematically




          Checking that the right processes have been followed helps you to know what is already happening or needs to
          happen.




           We can all talk and understand; we can all provide a safe space for people to talk; we can all validate a persons
           feeling:
           “I can see how this is hard for you”

           “Feeling this way must be uncomfortable”.
