Why respond in this way?
▪ The Ten Point Response Plan provides a clear structure for
adults to follow. This gives confidence and certainty to
adults and children. It also means that there is ensures
consistency across the school.
▪ We separate how to ‘Respond in the Moment’ and how to
follow-up because, most of the time, it is best to leave a
gap between the two.
▪ The Ten Point Response Plan is underpinned by evidence
from neuroscience and psychology about the best ways to
help children feel better and do better over time.
