"You should all flee and pay attention
to the highest window in the castle each
day," the Queen said, "If my next child is a
boy, I'll put up a white flag so you know
you can all return safely. However, if it's a
red flag, you will know it's a girl so you
should all run away as far as you can."
The twelve princes did what the
mother told them and one day, they saw a
red flag hanging out of that highest
window. So they all ran away and had lived
in a little hut in the forest since. Years later,
the little Princess had grown to be a
beautiful young lady. The Queen then told
her youngest daughter what had happened
years ago.
