The young Princess didn't know what

had happened and so she started to cry.

Then, she saw an old woman standing in

front of her. "Child, those flowers were

your twelve brothers. They have turned into

crows now," said the old woman.

"If you want to save your brothers, you

must not talk nor laugh for seven years."

The Princess was so eager to bring

back her brothers so she agreed and began

to sit quietly alone in the woods.

One day, a young King and his

followers passed by and saw the beautiful

Princess. He was amazed by her beauty so

the King asked her to marry him. The

Princess only nodded, but said nothing.
