We categorize these employees as %u2018Talent%u2019.3 Refers to management vacancies. 4 Senior refers to managers in corporate, regional, or local management roles. In 2023, we shifted to a new architecture for job level hierarchy to more accurately reflect a job%u2019s relative contribution and value within DKSH. All employees used to be categorized into five job levels. Now, the architecture consists of 15 job grades. We will individually review all job roles and assign the new job grade based on the scale, relative contribution, and value of the respective role. This process was already started in 2023 and will be finalized in 2024. Please note that changes in the job level hierarchy and the new assignment of job roles limit the comparability of figures related to women in senior leadership between 2022 and the years before and 2023.5 The engagement score is calculated by aggregating the average score of the two questions %u201cHow happy are you working for DKSH?%u201d and %u201cI would recommend DKSH as a great place to work%u201d from the YourVoice@DKSH engagement survey. Results Targets2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2027Human rightsIncidents relating to discrimination %u2013 %u2013 0 0 0 0Developing our talentTraining hours/employee (h)1 %u2013 %u2013 11.6 13.4 16.0 20.0Managerial bench strength (%)2 18 18 35 31 25 25Internal hire rate (%)3 %u2013 %u2013 54 58 55 55Embracing diversityWomen in senior leadership positions (%)4 27 29 31 34 36 39Employee engagementEmployee engagement score (0%u2013100)5 %u2013 74 75 77 78 81Voluntary attrition rate (%) 15.0 17.0 22.0 17.9 20.0 20.0New hire retention rate (%) %u2013 59.4 60.7 65.4 66 72Key achievements in 2023:%u2023 Continued our Belonging@DKSH initiative %u2023 Provided training through our Fantree Academy %u2023 Launched two talent development programs%u2023 Launched Recruitment Excellence for hiring managers %u2023 Launched Mental Health Awareness WeekEnable our People to Flourish Outlook:%u2023 Designing an Emerging Leader Program%u2023 Increasing employee wellness initiatives%u2023 Strengthening diversity training across the organization%u2023 Conducting further human rights auditsFor more information on our activities, please turn to the Labor Practices and Human Rights and Employee Attraction, Satisfaction, and Retention chapters.
