They have fresh and running water.
Water is cool and flows fast., catfish & trout
(Salmon)
Wetland
Fresh water , Land partially covered with
water
Ex: Swamps (marshes) and ponds (bogs)
Freshwater ecosystems
In many ponds and lakes, the water is present all year.
Other ponds and lakes dry in hot summer months so
animals and plants live there must adapt.
Rivers and streams are flowing water bodies.
They connect other water bodies as
lakes, oceans and seas.
