On behalf of LICH I wish to make some comments on what happened at the meeting and its possible consequences.Statements made at the meetingby community members who haveparticipated in the Hospital%u2019sPlanning and DevelopmentCommittee and myself, indicate abroad area of agreement %u2014 thatthere has been considerableprogress toward creating a planfor hospital expansion anddevelopment which will both accommodate the needs of a 750 bedacute care general hospital andpreserve the cultural amenities ofthe neighboring historicalresidential area.
