Michel's Sends a Valentine\Slope%u2019s newest entertainment spot, opens on Thursday night, February 14th with the widelyapplauded talents of The Norman Fields Duo featuring Norman Fields as pianistvocalist and Bryan Torff on bass.This experiment in informal supper club type entertainment is the result of collaboration between restauranteur George Michel and Slope resident Bob Murphy. He has performed at such wellknown nightclubs as \Tavern on the Green,%u201d and \Westhampton Wheel and Compass Club.%u201d His talents as an arranger were employed in the original productions of \Bye Birdie,%u201d \%u201c Kiss Me Kate,%u201d and \He has also worked as vocal coach for an impressive list of notables including Dick Van Dyke, Johnny Carson, Shelley Winters and Arlene Dahl.
