O \\ M * L C lr v < J IA #On PromenadeThe semi-annual Brooklyn Heights PromenadeArt Show opened to mixed weather this pastweekend, wkh a fine Saturday, but rainy and coldweather Sunday, which kept many of theexhibitors home.Right and below are a couple of Saturdayscenes from the popular event, which will run twomore weekends in May along the Promenade fromRemsen to Orange Streets. As in past years, the Show was a fair mixture ofall the arts and crafts, including sculpture andphotography. We were disappointed, aspreviously, that the serious artists still shun theshow for the most part, and that crafts byout-of-area artisans predominate.-Mike AllenPhotos by Ann MandelbaumBill P e r l m a n S i n g i n g a tPark Slope Coffee HouseThe %u201c Good Coffee House,\every Sunday from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Meeting House of the Brooklyn Ethical Culture Society, 53 Prospect Park W., will feature Bill Perlman with songs and guitar on May 19.Perlman started his professional career in 1965 with the SNCC Freedom Singers, and as a soloist has toured the U.S. and Canada, and even singing at the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.
