For information call 768-0827.GOOD TASTE IS PROMISEGood Taste is a relative newcomer to the gourmet food shop scene in Brooklyn Heights, but its Thanksgiving menu promises to bring memories of good food that will linger a long time. A ham and pear pate ($6.50/% lb.) starts off the meal. Follow that with wild rice or stilton and onion soup (each, $8/qt.). Good Taste%u2019s' turkey stuffings are cornbread based, either with pecans alone (3.50/lb.) or pecans and oysters ($4.25/lb.).Vegetable side dishes include braised fennel or a puree of acorn squash with roasted onions, both at $3.95/% lb. are also on the list, along with sweet potato au gratin at 3.75/% lb. Try the dried fruits and nut or the cranberry-pear conserves, both at $5/pt.Desserts for the Thanksgiving feast provide a twist on the old favorites. Pumpkin cheesecake ($9.50), cranberry tart ($12.50), and fruitcake ($7.25) are for the moreadventurous. Pecan pie ($11.50) is for those who adhere more closely to tradition.
