Cintron, collared in a store at 170 Fifth Ave., was charged with possession of a loaded .38 calibre automatic pistol.DOUBLE TROUBLE: One of two hold-up men that allegedly stole $60 from a man at the corner of Nevins and Schermerhorn Sts. was arrested on Sept. 2 at 12:30pm, immediately after the robbery took place. Officer Waverly Thompson of the 78th Precinct nabbed Robert Gorman, 37, of 458 State St., charging him with robbery; the other assailant is still at large.BAR BURGLARY: On Sept. 11 at 6am, 78th Precinct Officer Charles Taylor arrested James London, 36, of 436 Albee Square, for allegedly breaking into a bar at 368 Livingston St. London is charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief.EARLY BURGLARY: Officer Michael Maloney of the 78th Precinct arrested George Rios, 21, of 701 Union St., at 2:45 am on Sept. 10, after Rios allegedly broke into a home of 101 Prospect Place. Rios is charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.BURGLAR%u2019S ATTACK: Foralledgedly breaking into a building at 663 Union St. and attacking its 'occupant. Noel Ortiz, 27, of 677 Union St., was arrested at 8:45pm Sept. 7 by Officer William Ryan,of the 78th Precinct. Ortiz is charged with burglary and assault.REAR ENTRY: Robert Rios, 27, address unknown, was arrested at 2:15 am behind a grocery store at 141 Fifth Ave. on Sept. 5. Rios, captured on the back roof of the building by 78th Precinct Officer Eugene Sullivan, was charged with attempted burglary.DUO ROBBERY: After they allegedly tried to rob a 17-year-old woman of her paycheck, Sidney Steinbach, 17, of 125 Lorraine St., was arrested with a 15-year-old juvenile companion in front of 345Dean St. Caught at 11:05 am Sept. 7 by Officer Michael Vitale of the 78th Precinct, the two are charged with attempted robbery.GROUP STEAL: Two 14-yearolds, one 15-year-old and 19- year-old George Jackson, of 1199 Ocean Ave., were arrested at 6pm on Sept. 7 on Schermerhorn St. between Third Ave. and Nevins St. after they allegedly massively robbed a male passerby. Officer Jerry Orland of the 78th Precinct made all the arrests, noting as well that one of the group, a youth of about 18 years old, escaped and has not been captured; all the others were charged with robbery.BASEBALL BAT: At Willow Street and Pineapple Walk, at 5 am on Sept. 14, three officers on motor patrol heard loud screams and went to the aid of a victim who was bleeding from the head. The victim reported that three young people had beaten him over the head with a baseball bat. One juvenile was arrested almost immediately, carrying a bat. The arresting officers were Sg. O%u2019Neill, Officer Lewis Balsamo, and Officer John Caccamo of the 84th Precinct. The juvenile is being arraigned at the Brooklyn Criminal Court, and is charged with attempted robber, assault and criminal possession of a deadly weapon.ATTEMPTED MURDER: OnSept. 6, 1979, Roscoe Caldwell, 22 of 392 Clinton St., David Hardy, 22, of St. James Place, and Ephraim Taylor, 24 of 784 4th Ave. was arrested and charged with possession of firearms, and robbery. Taylor was charged with attempted murder. Officers John Horan and William Colavito of the 72nd Precinct responded to a call from a repair shop on 3rd Ave. and 25th St. and about a suspected robbery. When they arrived the alleged robbers fled. After a chase through Sunset Park and Park Slope, two of the men were apprehended by anti-crime officers, Frank Macri and Michael Gaynor. The third, Hardy, got away but was later arrested by 78th Precinct officers Baglcy and Casamassima.M.
