Among the four honorary doctorates to be awarded at the ceremonies, one will go to Lt. General A. Abrahamson, director of the U.S. Strategic Defense Initiative (Star Wars) Organization. Abrahamson will also deliverthe keynote address at Polytechnic%u2019s Annual Corporation Dinner, which will start at 7:30pm in the Plaza Hotel that same night.Abrahamson will be cited for %u201cexceptional leadership in marshalling America%u2019s finest researchers to build a bridge across the impending abyss to an era of greater security.%u201d Polytechnic is one of the universities designated to conduct research for the SDI program.Also to receive honorary degrees on June 2 are: Joseph J.
