Phones were the biggest complaint.%u201dThe schedule for this year%u2019s show includeswelcoming ceremonies September 23 to snipthe ribbon on the exhibition, a Chamber ofCommerce Marketplace Luncheon withState Assembly Majority Leader StanleyFink as the principal speaker on Wednesday.Three seminars have also been planned.There will be a program on communications systems and business presented byAT&T. The Lutheran Medical Centerspecialists will discuss business andmedicine. And Long Island University experts will conduct a seminar on insurancefor businesses.The show will also be open to the publicfor more hours, in response to suggestionsfrom last year%u2019s participants, says Raymond. Last year the exposition was open tobusinesses on two days, and opened to thegeneral public only on the last day. Thisyear, the show will also be open to thepublic on the last day (Sept. 25), in additionto 5-9pm on September 24.%u201cWe have made some changes in this year%u2019sshow,%u201d says Raymond. %u201cI think they willmake for a quality show, and I think we%u2019llreally hit our stride this year.%u201dNew York Is For SaleTwo New York City-held leases onBrooklyn property were auctioned July 31by the New York City Department ofGeneral Services%u2019 Division of Real Property.Rosalyn Knox bought the lease for 1573East New York Avenue, and is to pay$601/month rent on it. Fred Musser boughtthe lease to the property on the northwestcomer of Washington Avenue and ProspectStreet, and is to pay $8,528 per month.
