Rite Journey Bushwalk
On Friday of Week 7 (in preparation for their Solo Camp experience in Week 9), our
Year 9 students took up the challenge of a bush walk through the Wirrabara Forest
Reserve. The students walked up to the lookout for a time of independent reflection
about their Rite Journey experience so far, and then returned to the bottom of the
hill on a 3km round trip.
The trip was completed with a delicious lunch at the Stone Hut Bakery.
On Thursday of Week 8, we held
the Primary Community Breakfast
on the Primary lawned area, to
make the most of the beautiful
weather.
Thank you to those who attended,
and to all our wonderful
volunteers. Bacon and eggs, coffee,
community and fellowship made it
a fantastic way to start the day.
