Week 8 saw the Year 7 and 8 students attend their biannual camp at El Shaddai in Wellington, on the Murray River. Students survived the heat by taking part in activities that happened in the shelter of the Recreation Hall, and Activity Hall. Rock climbing, vertical ladders, and Earth ball, were not only challenging activities, but also provided an opportunity where the students had to rely on and encourage each other (at times when a fellow student was extremely nervous, anxious or quite afraid).
Students also participated in laser tag, archery, swimming pool fun, and most importantly, the giant swing! Overall, the students were a great bunch, making the whole camp a fun experience and a great memory for students and staff alike.
