David A. Thaeler
Director, Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer ABOUT HASKELL
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
As chief people officer, David is responsible for overseeing the global human resources function
at Haskell. In this role, he leads the teams responsible for driving the company’s human capital
management strategy – including talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits,
team member relations, culture and engagement programs – to support the company’s continued
growth, innovation and profitability by enhancing leadership and talent practices to create a work
environment that fuels Haskell’s differentiation in the market for our team members and our clients.

foundation of trust and authenticity, David and his team were instrumental in promoting team
member learning and engagement, resulting in company recognition as a Training Global Top 100
organization for nine years in a row, as well as numerous regional best places to work awards.
David was named to the 2017 Human Resource Executive magazine’s HR Honor Roll and brings a
wealth of human resources management expertise to Haskell after having spent 18 years in various
human resources leadership functions at two multi-billion-dollar Fortune 500 companies with over
100,000 employees — an emerging publicly traded telecommunication company and an academic
healthcare system that was recognized four years in a row as a Fortune 100 Best Places to Work For. FINANCIALS
EDUCATION
In addition to earning a bachelor’s degree in management and human resources,
David also holds a dual master’s degree in Labor & Human Resources Management
and Public Policy from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
David is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM);
HRPS Strategic Network (HRPS), Association of Talent Development (ATD) and American GOVERNANCE
College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), served on the board of directors of the Guardian
Catholic Schools, Second Harvest Food Bank and various regional diversity councils in
