The pandemic undoubtedly taught us the true value of
our careers, friends, families, and health. We realised
the importance of balancing work and personal life,

setting aside time for each significant person in our
lives and, most importantly, being healthy and fit.
We witnessed the output of having had the opportuni-
ty to do work from home and now when the world is
taking pace and people are returning to their
workplaces, the question arises in everyone’s mind
about what the future of employment will be, WFH,
WFO, or Hybrid?
Let's discuss the cost of WFO, including both the
monetary cost and the irrecoverable cost that is
causing environmental pollution. We recently
observed World Environment Day. We all talk about Creative
safeguarding the environment in our Facebook and
WhatsApp status updates, but what steps are we
actually taking to do so?
From our productive time bucket, we are spending
around 1 to 2 hours on an average in commuting to our
offices. As soon as we arrive, every colleague wants to Festivals &
know what’s happening in each others lives and of
course, around 1 hour goes in smoke and tea breaks.
While WFH enabled us to retain our productive time
bucket by allowing us to spend less time travelling,
chatting, and taking brief breaks. WFH proved to be Corner:
the finest platform, especially for the female person- Fun
nel because they could easily balance their personal
and work lives. Additionally, a lot of studies have noted
that when people work from home, pollution levels
decrease.
The prevalent hybrid culture that is currently being
practised by many firms is proving to be the greatest
option for employment. By providing their best work

maintain a great work life balance too.
