Temple Sinai’s Chazzan Cliff Abramson will bring back his “Overcoming
Stage Fright” workshop. From his years in theater and film, as well as his
pastoral training as ordained clergy, he will deal with the issue practically,
systematically and with great compassion. This virtual workshop begins

“Jewish Heroines of the Holocaust”
Zivia Libetkin was the founder of Polish underground, Jewish Fighting
Organization in Warsaw, and a member of the Dror Zionist Youth
Movement, the first to set up in the Warsaw Ghetto for armed resistance.
She trained the Jewish teenagers and smuggled them through Romania
and Palestine, organizing underground schools for youth. She armed her
teens, fighting alongside them. Zivia escaped the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
through the sewers to the “Aryan” side of Warsaw and founded a kibbutz
in Palestine after the war. This class, presented by the Al Katz Center,
begins at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. Cost: $10 per day or $50 per month for all
