Among the greatest challenges our community faces during the Coronavirus heater
pandemic is caring for our seniors – keeping them protected physically, T
active mentally, and nourished spiritually and emotionally. Pamela Baron,
MSW, Director of Aging Services at JFCS, and Marc Codron, Director of
Strategic Partnerships at JDC-Eshel, will engage in a conversation about
their work, its successes and challenges, what we have learned about The Sarasota Jewish Theater proudly begins its inaugural season

Chabad of Bradenton Course: “Code to Joy”
Join Chanie Bukiet at noon, either in person (outdoors and social dis-
tanced) or on Zoom, for the seven-session course on “Code to Joy: The
road to joy is easier when you don’t go it alone.” The course explores the
underlying ideas and beliefs that sustain a truly joyful life. In this session,
we will learn that all of us matter and have been charged with a personal
mission to connect ourselves with the divine. The course fee is $75 and
includes the textbook; or pay $18 per class. Lunch will be served. For

The Florida Holocaust Museum Exhibition Opening WOMEN I HAVE LOVED
Join us at 6:30 p.m. for a virtual event with Rabbi Irvin Ungar, who will
present “Justice, Justice You Shall Pursue: The Art and Propaganda of
Arthur Szyk.” This free event will stream on Facebook Live (facebook.
com/thefhm). Rabbi Ungar is the curator of the Arthur Szyk Society in
California. He devoted the past quarter-century to scholarship on Szyk.

Chabad of Sarasota Course: “Code to Joy”
All women are invited to join Chabad of Sarasota’s Rosh Chodesh Society
course entitled “Code to Joy.” The monthly course, which takes place on
Zoom at 7:30 p.m., is led by Sara Steinmetz. It will be packed with spiritual
insights about trust, optimism, regret, faith, introspection, mindfulness, JANUARY 31 • 3pm
relationships and rituals you can easily apply to real life. This month’s Featuring Carolyn Michel and directed by Howard Millman,
class is entitled “What Am I Here For?” and will discuss how to best
express your personal strengths while pursuing your life’s mission. For this play features highlights of Carolyn’s rich career,
