“Will the result of the Camp David Trilateral
Summit 2023 be helpful for the security of the Korean
peninsula?”
45.1% of the respondents answered “yes” and
44.8% said “no.”
Historical legacy issues cannot be solved by the Yoon
administration’s efforts alone. They should continue to be
debated among scholars and experts but must be separated
from Korea-Japan economic and military security cooperation.
A two-track approach will be more effective for the stability
and sustainability of Korea-Japan relations as well as for
trilateral cooperation.
