Nobumasa Akiyama

Dr. Nobumasa Akiyama is a Professor at the School of International and Public
Policy and the Graduate School of Law at Hitotsubashi University and a member
and a Senior Associate Fellow at the Asia Pacific Leadership Network. He has
been an advisor to the Japanese Delegation to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)
Review Conferences since 2000 and is a member of the International Group of
Eminent Persons for a World without Nuclear Weapons. He earned his Ph.D from
Hitotsubashi University.
