Step 6:

After you have registered for classes, you can order the required textbooks. There are many ways
to order textbooks for your classes, one of which is the Kettering Online Bookstore. You can find
the Online Bookstore at www.bkstr.com/ketteringstore/home. You may search by keywords or
by a book’s ISBN

Step 7:

Log on to Blackboard, our online
class management system, using the
LDAP username and password you
received on your acceptance letter.
You can view a class on Blackboard
two weeks before the class starts.
Some faculty may post the syllabus
and other materials before the
classes begin. Do not worry if you
do not see anything on Blackboard
before the class starts.

You can access Blackboard
through the Student One Stop
at www.kettering.edu/current-
students under Web Applications.
You will use Blackboard to
access class syllabi, handouts,
presentations, view video
streamed classes and lectures, take
online exams/quizzes, participate
in discussion boards, and to
receive and submit assignments.
