These beneits are at no cost to you.


Short-Term Disability

Short-Term Disability (STD) provides you with a percentage of your weekly

income while you are out of work following a non-work related accident or
illness. BRP offers an STD plan at no cost to you. Those eligible will receive
an STD beneit equal to a speciied percentage of your weekly earnings and
are eligible to receive this beneit for up to 26 weeks.


Long-Term Disability

Long-Term Disability (LTD) protects your income by providing you with a
percentage of your income while you are disabled. BRP provides an LTD
beneit at no cost to you. In the event of an illness or accident that requires
a lengthy recovery, you may be eligible for a tax-free beneit equal to 66.67%

of your monthly salary, up to a maximum of $12,000 per month.


EAP

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employer paid beneit
providing resources for everyday living. Employee assistance professionals
provide counseling and referral to continued therapy or treatment services
anytime you or a family member are seeking to maintain mental and
emotional well-being. The EAP can assist with a variety of life’s issues.


Effective January 1, 2015, BRP will be transitioning to Optum Direct for
EAP services which will allow for up to six face-to-face visits. Employees
can expect the same conidentiality standards as they have under the current
arrangement.


A 24/7 nurse line is also available to employees. Line information can be
found on the back of employee insurance cards.
