By deinition, beneits are over and above our regular compensation.
Vacation/ They are neither earned nor entitled, but rather they are an extra bonus
Holiday earned by working for Americare.
These beneits are also our way of showing we care about your
personal and professional growth and we want you to remain with us as
a successful, fulilled employee. We hope you will ind the information
in this section useful and it helps you understand the value of your
total compensation.
Paid Vacation
Vacation with pay is one way we show our appreciation for your length
of service and good work.
Full-time employees will earn vacation in accordance with the following
schedule and calculation.
Length Of Continuous Service Days Accrued Per Year
1 Year 5 Days
5–10 Years 10 Days
10 Years + 15 Days
Full and part-time employees accrue vacation time based on the average
hours worked per week. Total hours are calculated from anniversary
date to anniversary date. Vacation hours paid is based on the average
hours actually worked by that employee during that 12 month period.
PRN employees are not eligible for vacation beneits.
Employees on unpaid leave of absence will not accrue vacation while
on unpaid leave.
