Guide




When a full time employee is not scheduled to work the holiday,

the employee will receive holiday pay equal to their hourly rates for
regularly scheduled hours, up to eight (8) hours. Part time employees
who do not work on the holiday will not receive the holiday pay.
Holiday pay will not be considered hours worked for the purposes of
computing overtime or incentive bonus.


Any employee who is absent from regularly-scheduled duties on a
holiday will not be paid for the holiday. Holiday pay is paid for the 24
hour period that is deined by the facility.


If a holiday falls during a scheduled vacation, a full-time employee will
receive straight holiday pay for that day. A part-time employee will not
receive holiday pay; it is considered as a vacation day.



Paid Sick Leave
Employees who have completed their introductory period accrue sick

leave at the rate of 8 hours of sick pay for every 345 hours worked.

Employees accrue sick leave from the date of compensated
employment, but cannot utilize sick leave until they have successfully

completed their 90-day introductory period.

A maximum of 6 unused sick days may be carried forward from one

year to the next with a total maximum of six days available in any given
year.

Sick leave will be paid at your applicable base hourly rate. Sick leave pay

will not be considered hours worked for the purposes of computing
overtime, incentives, commissions, bonuses, or sift differentials.
