Flexible Spending Account (FSA)—Discovery
Benefits

Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) are accounts which allow you to
set aside part of your salary (before taxes) to pay for qualiied medical
expenses, or child or dependent care. You save money because you
don’t pay taxes on the money you place into this account. Use it to
pay for daycare, medical, and prescription drugs which aren’t covered
by insurance, as well as over the counter medicines and drugs you buy
every day. The annual maximum is $2,700 for medical and $5,000 for
dependent care.

A lexible spending beneit plan will provide the following.

„ Boost your take-home pay

„ Cut your taxable income

Note: if you enroll in the Choice Plan with a health savings
account, you are not eligible to enroll in the FSA
