Apricity Benefits Overview
Enrolling in Benefits
To enroll for all beneits, log in to www.myAPRBeneits.com and follow the Enrollment Instructions.
Your elections will become effective on your eligibility date.
During Annual Benefits Enrollment
Beneits enrollment takes place once each year. The choices you make will be effective for one
full plan year unless you have a Qualifying Life Event (as described below). If you do not enroll,
some of your current coverage will roll over in 2020, except for medical and dental coverage and
FSA elections. You will not be able to enroll again until the next Beneits Enrollment period (unless
you have a Qualifying Life Event).
As a Newly Hired Employee
Newly hired employees are eligible for beneits on the irst day of the month following 60 days of
employment and must enroll within 31 days of your hire date. If you do not enroll when you are irst
eligible, you will not be able to enroll until the next annual Beneits Enrollment period (unless you
have a Qualifying Life Event).
Changes During the Year (Qualifying Life Events)
The IRS does not allow mid-year plan changes unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event;
which is typically a change in economic or family status during the year. If you experience a
Qualifying Life Event, you may make changes to your beneits outside of the annual Beneits
Enrollment period. Unless otherwise noted changes must be made within 31 days following the
Qualifying Life Event. To review and make changes during a Qualifying Life Event please log into
www.myAPRBeneits.com. All changes must be consistent with and as a direct result of that life
event. Qualifying Life Events include (but are not limited to):
Change of legal marital status (e.g., marriage, divorce, death of spouse, legal separation)
Change in number of dependents (e.g., birth, adoption, death of dependent, ineligibility due
to age)
Change in employment or job status
There are various resources available to help you understand your beneits, assist with enrollment,
and answer questions you may have about your coverage throughout the plan year.
