In 2017, The Carlstar Group will offer an HSA Silver Plan, which is a Compare prescription drug
consumer driven health plan with high deductibles. The Carlstar Group costs
funds a portion of the deductible.
Medical Plans—2017 Features
HSA Silver Plan features a health savings account which is offered by
Cigna. The Carlstar Group funds half of the deductible (prorated
if new hire) into an account. This account is used to pay for medical,
pharmacy, dental, and vision expenses at your discretion. For more
information on how the HSA works, see the following page. Once
the deductible is met, the medical plan applies the in- and out- of
network and out-of-pocket maximums.
Your Cost
Your cost for medical coverage is deducted from your pay on a pretax
basis. Refer to page 46 titled “Employee Contributions” for the cost
applicable to medical coverage offered by The Carlstar Group.
