Long Term Care
A long term care insurance policy helps pay for care you need when you
can no longer care for yourself. Coverage includes home care, assisted
living, hospice, and nursing care. Fontbonne partners with LTC Solutions,
Inc. and TransAmerica to offer you the opportunity to purchase long
term care insurance with group discounted rates. See the below chart for
available plan options.
Beneit Features Plan Options
Beneit amount (daily coverage) $100, $150, $180 or $200
Length of coverage 3 years or 6 years
Inlation protection Deferred, 3% step-rated or 5% step rated
Elimination period 90 days
All beneit-eligible employees and their spouses are eligible to enroll in
this product, and may enroll at any time.
X Newly-hired employees can enroll themselves and their spouses in this
product within 30 days after their 6 month employment anniversary.
This is the only opportunity to apply with a limited underwriting
questionnaire.
X All other beneit eligible employees may apply at any time outside of
their new hire period with full underwriting.
This beneit is portable, meaning if you ever leave Fontbonne, you can
continue to utilize this coverage at the same group-discounted rate.
