Vacation & Retirement
Holidays
Emmaus offers eight paid holidays per year and employees are eligible for holiday pay
upon date of hire. Paid Holidays include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Day After, and
Christmas Day.
Employees who are scheduled to work an average of 32 or more hours per week and must
work on the holiday enjoy their regular rate of pay per each holiday as well as additional
holiday pay. If those same employees do not work on the holiday, they receive holiday
pay only.
Employees scheduled less than an average of 32 hours per week and work on a holiday
will be paid their regular rate of pay plus a 50 percent premium for the hours worked on
the holiday.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
A generous PTO offering is available to employees who are scheduled to work an average
of 64 or more hours per pay period. Employees start accruing PTO on their first day of
employment. Eligible employees accrue PTO at the following rates:
0-3 Years 3-<7 Years 7-<11 Years 11+ Years

Retirement Savings Plan - 403(b) Principal
All Emmaus employees are eligible for this excellent retirement savings plan benefit.
Employees may start making contributions upon employment and may make changes at
any time.
Newly eligible employees will receive an employer match on their voluntary
contributions of up to 3% of their biweekly income, beginning the first quarter after one
year of employment.
For Example
Gross Pay for 2 Week Period = $800.00
Employee Contributes $24 per pay period (3%);
Emmaus Contributes $24 per pay period (3%)
Annual Total Contributions = $1,248.00*
* Contributions may grow because earnings are reinvested.
