Medical Plans
You can choose medical and pharmacy beneits from
three options, each with diferent levels of coverage.
Brady ofers a Health Maintenance Organization
(HMO) plan, Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
plan, and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) that
works with a Health Savings Account (HSA) to help
pay for your medical expenses. Which plan works
best for you depends on many factors including
your budget for health care coverage and the types
of treatment and services you will likely need in the
coming year.
With the HMO you are required to use the Kaiser
network of providers, facilities and pharmacies for
coverage; there are no beneits available out of the
network. With the PPO and HDHP with HSA, when
you visit health care providers and facilities in the
UnitedHealthcare network, your cost is less. You
always have the option to go outside the network of
providers and facilities, but when you do, remember
that you will then need to pay a higher portion of
the costs.

The PPO and HDHP Plans are administered by
an outside company that specializes in managing
claims, UnitedHealthcare. Visit www.myuhc.com or
download the UnitedHealthcare app on any iPhone
or Android device by visiting the app store to take
advantage of helpful tools including:
„ Network provider and pharmacy searches
„ A list of prescription drugs covered by the plan
„ Access to temporary ID cards and order
new ones
Information regarding paid and pending claims

„ Estimate costs
„ Conduct virtual visits with providers

7 days a week.
