From Deserts to Skies: Saudi Arabia's Giga Projects and Rise of Global Power

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in a relentless pursuit to craft an impressive story of renaissance through several
ambitious large-scale projects and transformative strategies. The country aspires to establish itself as one of the
most preferred destinations for tourism, business, and entertainment by further advancing infrastructure, drawing
investments, and fostering innovations. In line with its mission to become a place where luxury, innovation and
sustainability coexist, Saudi Arabia is advancing with a number of ground-breaking giga projects, all of which
possess the immense potential to stimulate significant economic growth and develop the Kingdom’s digital
         infrastructure.

Advancing ambitious agenda for economic diversification and steering Saudi’s economy away from its long-
         standing reliance on oil
Under the dynamic leadership of His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the
country is embarking on an astonishing, massive construction spree with an impressive array of construction and
housing projects that promises to revolutionise the nation’s landscape. The Saudi government introduced the ‘Vision
2030’ on April 25, 2016, which is a detailed plan aimed at reducing the nation's dependency on oil and building a
dynamic, diversified economy. This vision, combined with the various giga projects, is paving the way for crafting an
open, contemporary, and diverse future for the country. At the forefront of this transformative journey is the Riyadh
Expo 2030. The Kingdom stands ready to draw in a surge of tourists and businesses, thereby bolstering the
economy. Simultaneously, this grand event serves as a pivotal opportunity for the Saudi Arabia to enhance its
infrastructure over the next seven years, leveraging cutting-edge technology. This strategic move positions the nation
as influential leaders in the MENA region. The Kingdom also seeks to be renowned as a dominant hub for numerous
technical breakthroughs, with a specific emphasis becoming a pioneer in fields, such as smart cities, renewable
         energy, and artificial intelligence.

Pathway to future: How Saudi is setting new records and reshaping its landscape

According to a number of industry experts, mile-high skyscrapers have become a reality and by 2050 there might be
more majestic constructions towering above 3200 feet. Now the question arises, which cutting-edge technologies
can assist in transforming these ambitious visions into reality.
At 2717 feet, or over half a mile, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai currently holds the record for being the highest-flying
structure in the world. To surpass this record, Saudi Arabia has embarked on an ambitious project to construct the
world’s tallest building – the Kingdom Tower. Once completed, this high-rise structure being developed in Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia, is expected to be more than 1,000 meters or 3,281 ft tall. The tower will feature a sophisticated,
