        ensure compliance with local and federal laws, international agreements, and legal interpretations,

        thereby guiding the Committee's obligations. This all-encompassing structure seeks to improve the

        general effectiveness and performance of the Committee in its legislative capacity.




        In line with this law, Decision No. (3) of 2024 has been issued by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin

        Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, This

        ruling approves the policies for the Supreme Legislation Committee, therefore defining the proper way

        of running its affairs.




        These just adopted rules stress important goals including simplifying legislative issuing and review

        procedures. The objective is to establish transparent and effective processes compliant with the

        emirate's strategic plan. These rules mostly aim to create a sustainable legislative framework that can

        efficiently handle legal needs while still being flexible enough to fit future developments, The method

        is meant to guarantee compliance with both the federal and local rules applicable in Dubai as well as

        with the UAE Constitution.




        Furthermore underlined in the rules are the control of the interaction among the Supreme Legislation

        Committee, its General Secretariat, other government agencies—local, federal, regional, or

        international—engaged in legislative affairs and agreements. This cooperative method is meant to

        guarantee consistent and efficient application of laws throughout Dubai, therefore enabling the

        accomplishment of the desired legislative goals.




        Previously guiding the Supreme Committee for Legislation in Dubai, Law No. (14) of 2024 superseded

        Decree No. (23) of 2014 and Executive Council Resolution No. (12). The new law simplifies the legal

        system guiding the Committee's activities by nullifying any contradicting laws. But Resolution No.

        (110) of 2023 will be in force until the Committee is formally reestablished by a Dubai Ruler decree.




        All currently in effect decisions, rules, and policies developed under Decree No. (23) of 2014 and

        Executive Council Resolution No. (12) of 2014 shall remain so as part of this change. This will be the

        case until they contradict the new law, therefore guaranteeing continuity in government until fresh
