The Committee’s new mission focuses on improving legislative quality to ensure it aligns

centered on transparency and justice, the Committee seeks effective collaboration with

stakeholders.

Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, Secretary-General of the Supreme Legislation

Committee, stated that the updated plan embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aiming to create a proactive legislative framework

that anticipates future challenges while supporting Dubai’s development. The plan serves

as a comprehensive guide for developing a legislative system that adheres to core values

and strategic objectives, keeping pace with rapid sectoral changes.

The 2024-2029 strategy focuses on evolving balanced legislation, promoting legislative

awareness, achieving operational excellence, and preparing institutions for future
challenges. It seeks to establish a legislative framework that balances economic growth

with environmental protection, safeguarding individual rights and advancing public

interests.

The Committee remains committed to ensuring effective law enforcement as fundamental
