Supreme Legislation Committee in Dubai unveils

updated strategic plan for 2024-2029

The Supreme Legislation Committee in Dubai has unveiled its updated strategic plan for 2024-
2029, reaffirming its commitment to advancing the legislative framework, enhancing its readiness
for the future, and aligning with national development goals.

The updated strategic plan aims to foster an innovative legislative environment, solidifying Dubai’s
position as a leading legislative hub with a positive influence on all aspects of economic, social,
and cultural life.

The new mission of the Supreme Legislation Committee focuses on improving the quality of
legislation to ensure alignment with global developments and future trends. It also aims to support
a stable and innovative legislative environment that accords utmost importance to transparency
and the principle of assured justice. This will be achieved through effective collaboration with
relevant stakeholders.

Anticipating the future
His Excellency Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee
in Dubai, said the updated strategic plan for 2024-2029 embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of
