            development of social enterprises that address Abu Dhabi’s social
            challenges, fostering collaboration, innovation, and investment.

            Applications are open until September 10, 2024.

            Startups that target key areas such as People of Determination, Senior
            Citizens Services, Youth Rehabilitation, Blue Collar Workers’ Wellbeing,

            Domestic Violence Victim Support, Individual Reintegration, and Economic
            Empowerment are encouraged to apply. The program is open to all

            nationalities and ages to promote diversity and inclusivity among founders.

            Ma’an will support 30 startups in the upcoming cohorts, offering resources

            for networking, mentorship, and a dynamic work environment that
            promotes collaboration and critical thinking.

            Majra, the National CSR Fund, has certified the program with the ‘Verified

            Sustainable Impact Project Stamp,’ recognizing its alignment with UAE
            national priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.


            Salma Gharama, Social Entrepreneurship Division Director at Ma’an, said,
            “Ma’an Social Incubator is designed to support the next generation of
            entrepreneurs and amplify forward-thinking solutions addressing social

            priorities. The program empowers entrepreneurs and social startups with

            the tools, resources, and support needed to implement their ideas.”

            Dana Kamali, Chief Business Officer at the National CSR Fund – MAJRA,
            added, “We are pleased to support the latest edition of the Social Incubator

            Programme, which aligns with MAJRA’s vision of advancing sustainable
            development in the UAE.”

            Ramesh Jagannathan, Managing Director at startAD, highlighted Abu

            Dhabi’s commitment to nurturing innovative solutions for building smart
            and sustainable cities. “startAD is proud to work closely with Ma’an to

            provide startups with opportunities to grow in the UAE market through

            pilot projects with leading industry players,” he said.

            Selected teams will receive funding based on milestone achievements,
            workshops, expert mentorship, and opportunities to connect with private

            and government partners. Additional benefits include workspaces, tech
            discounts, masterclasses, UAE golden visa endorsements, and post-

            programme support.
