Since its launch, the Know ledge Sum mit has paved the way for know ledge beacons, spread ing

the mes sage of edu ca tion, sci ence, and innov a tion through eight suc cess ful and dis tin guished
edi tions. Over the years, the event has wit nessed sub stan tial growth in terms of the num ber of
ses sions, speak ers, and par ti cipants.

More than 747 ses sions have been organ ised, which focused on sig ni c ant know ledge and
sci ence top ics. Fea tur ing over 1,765 speak ers, prom in ent minds, experts, entre pren eurs, gov -

ern ment o cials, and key decision-makers from across the globe, the know ledge sum mit has
atrac ted over 81,000 stake hold ers from vari ous elds of sci ence and know ledge.

Organ ised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Mak toum Know ledge Found a tion (MBRF) and the

United Nations Devel op ment Pro gramme (UNDP), the Know ledge Sum mit is a premier annual
know ledge event in the Arab World. This event gath ers intel lec tu als, experts, vis ion ar ies, and
poli cy makers to share exper i ences and insights about the future. By blend ing local insights
with global expert ise, the sum mit cre ates an envir on ment that encour ages innov at ive ideas

and the launch of impac ful devel op mental know ledge projects.
The primary object ives of the sum mit are two fold: rst, to identify and address key issues in
know ledge and devel op ment, and second, to incor por ate and trans form best global prac tices
