The final day of the two-day Knowledge Summit 2024 featured a series of
insightful panel discussions that highlighted topics, including sustainable
development, environmental innovations, and the advantages of using
artificial intelligence (AI). The sessions received substantial attention from
the audience, marking the conclusion of the region’s key annual knowledge
gathering.
The second session entitled ‘AI Readiness: Building the Future Ecosystem’
featured key speakers including H.E. Matar AlHemeiri, Chief Executive,
Digital Dubai Government Establishment; Harrison Lung, Group Chief
Strategy Officer at e&; Dr. Hanan Salam, Co-Founder of Women in AI and
Assistant Professor, Director of SMART Lab at NYUAD; and Priya Lakhani
Founder and CEO of CENTURY Tech. The session was moderated by Ethar
Eltinay, Founder and Policy Advisor of ThinkTank Initiative.
During the session, the speakers highlighted various methods for building a
robust foundation for artificial intelligence (AI) and the significance of
establishing AI data and computing centers within modern infrastructure.
Furthermore, they shared several valuable insights and concepts linked to
the management and protection of AI data, the shift to AI-driven systems,
