Promoting Knowledge And Intellectual Engagement
The launch of the ‘Knowledge Lounge’ in Australia aligns with MBRF’s commitment to expanding its
global presence through innovative programs that enhance intellectual dialogue and learning. By
creating a platform for knowledge exchange, MBRF seeks to empower young Emiratis and Arabs
while strengthening their ties with the wider Arab knowledge community.
His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, highlighted the significance of the initiative in
cultivating a global knowledge-driven society. He stated:
“The ‘Knowledge Lounge’ in Sydney and Melbourne is a crucial step in
MBRF’s mission to advance intellectual engagement among youth worldwide.
Through this initiative, we are providing a dynamic space that unites Emirati
and Arab students, encourages intellectual discussions, and enhances their
knowledge. Our goal is to empower the next generation by fostering a culture
where knowledge is a key driver of progress and innovation.”
He further emphasized MBRF’s active role in National Reading Month, reinforcing the UAE’s vision of
establishing itself as a global hub for knowledge and learning.
A National Commitment To Knowledge And Development
His Excellency Khalid Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority, underscored the UAE
leadership’s dedication to knowledge as a cornerstone of national progress. He stated:
“The UAE has developed a comprehensive strategy to integrate reading and
knowledge-sharing into everyday life. Our leadership recognizes that investing
in youth and providing them with opportunities for intellectual growth is
essential for sustainable development. Initiatives like the ‘Knowledge Lounge’
drive progress by cultivating a highly skilled and creative society that can
adapt to an evolving global landscape.”
He further noted that Emirati youth play a vital role in supporting national goals by engaging in
meaningful intellectual and cultural exchanges. The ‘Knowledge Lounge’ initiative strengthens these
efforts by encouraging youth to collaborate with the Arab knowledge community on a global scale.
