Sheikh Suhail Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Sports Development
Sector at GAS, said that the project cooperates with nine sports federations
and bodies to organise various competitions, championships, and festivals that
utilise new methods to discover and develop sporting talents in nine different
sports.
The project has already hosted three events out of 18 planned events and
festivals, which are the “First Talent Discovery Festival for Athletics Buds,” the
“Future Falcons Golf Talent Discovery Festival” and the “Abu Dhabi Club Tennis
Festival for Badminton Talent Discovery".
