maintaining the sustainability of public cleanliness in all areas. Throughout the Emirate of Dubai,
which contributes to achieving the municipality’s objectives aimed at making Dubai more
attractive, sustainable, and providing a better quality of life every day.
Dubai Municipality harnesses all its efforts and capabilities to provide integrated and effective
municipal services, according to the highest levels, daily and throughout the year, to reduce marine
pollution caused by floating waste, in a way that maintains the sustainability of the marine and
natural environment in the emirate.

The municipality also allocates a team to monitor the cleanliness of water canals and creeks that
are more than 35 kilometers (19 nautical miles) long, consisting of 12 marine captains, 25 workers
and sailors, and 12 marine vehicles to perform various daily cleaning tasks, according to a work
plan and field follow-ups around the clock. .
