As part of its plan to develop its services and ease procedures, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and
Gas Authority (SEWA) has added a new channel to refund the deposit after closing the account
               through Al Ansari Exchange.

An agreement to this effect was signed between SEWA and Al Ansari Exchange, where the
remaining deposit will be transferred to Al Ansari Exchange in the name of the customer in the event
that his IBAN is not available.

The customer can later withdraw the amount at any time from Al Ansari Exchange offices.

According to Dr Hussein Al Askar, Director of SEWA’s Customer Service Department, SEWA is
working to fulfil the vision and directives of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al
Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for easing procedures and providing the
               best services to customers.

Al Askar pointed out that adding this new channel to refund customers the remaining deposit would
ease procedures, save customers’ time and effort, enhance confidence in effective government
services and contribute to raising the level of customer satisfaction.
