Expo City Dubai earns the highest sustainable tourism certification from

GSTC, positioning the Expo City Dubai tourism sustainability model as
a global benchmark in eco-tourism.

DUBAI: Expo City Dubai has achieved a historic milestone in sustainable travel, becoming the first

city in the MENA region to earn the highest level of certification under the Global Sustainable
Tourism Council (GSTC). The recognition, awarded in compliance with the Green Destinations

Standard, reinforces the UAE’s growing reputation as a global leader in eco-conscious tourism.
