Dubai International Academy Emirates Hills has been shortlisted in the “Environmental
Action” category for its successful community change initiatives. The Dubai-based
independent school, which serves kindergarten through secondary students, has been
recognised for its personalised learning pathway programmes and project-based
learning that emphasise culturally responsive education and sustainability projects.
The Dubai independent school GEMS Legacy School, has been nominated for the
“Supporting Health Lives’ category for its work in promoting holistic wellbeing and
sustainable lifestyle choices among students. The school’s efforts have impacted over
6,000 children, with initiatives such as school-wide fruit breaks and sleep hygiene
workshops.
